2015 Honda Civic Type R

After much speculation and guesses, the appearance of the new 2015 Honda Civic Type R model, comes the official confirmation of the promotion of this model. New Civic Type R makes its debut at the 84 Geneva Auto Show (March 2014). On this event will be introduced the concept version of the vehicle. Serial model, 2015 Honda Civic Type R will hit the market in 2015.

The company Honda, has previously announced goal of developing a new Civic Type R model. The 2015 Honda Civic Type R will attempt to break the record on the track in Nürburgring. When the company announced record-breaking, it was 8:07.90 minutes. The record was achieved by Renault Megane RS Trophy. Meanwhile, the Seat Leon Cupra 280 has set a new record on the track, which is now 7:58:44 minutes. If 2015 Honda Civic Type R surpass this result, it will become the fastest car with front-wheel drive. The task is not easy, and if the new Type R will succeed remains to wait and see.

The new exterior design, gives the vehicle an aggressive and powerful look. Special look sporty hatchback model provide rear spoiler and a diffuser in black color, sports exhaust system with four exhaust pipes and new alloy wheels. For new achievements, sporty driving and high speed, 2015 Honda Civic Type R is equipped with the new improved systems. New improved braking system, modified suspension and enhanced vehicle handling will improve sports performance. Interior design is also in line with the intended use of the vehicle. Sport steering wheel, sports seats, chrome pedals and gear knob, reflects the spirit of a race car.

Under the hood, 2015 Honda Civic Type R model, there is a 2.0 L four-cylinder turbo petrol engine with direct injection. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission and develops 280 hp. Powerful engine and the fact that the car is heavy just 1,200 kg, seems optimistic. Especially before the attempt to become the fastest car in Nürburgring.
