2015 Chevrolet Colorado

New 2015 Chevrolet Colorado is described as the most capable, the most versatile and the most technologically advanced mid-size pick-up truck on the market. This model was presented at the Auto Show in Los Angeles in November 2013. Model 2015 MY is representative of the new generation Chevrolet Colorado model.

Colorado model, first appeared on the market in 2004. This model is the successor to the legendary Chevrolet S-10 models. Replacement of models was carried out very successfully. Colorado model is quickly achieved great success and extended the tradition of most wanted and best-selling mid-size pick-up truck in the U.S. market. To the Australian market, this model appeared as the Holden Colorado, 2012. Thus, Colorado has become part of the globalization of markets.

New Colorado attracts attention with its new design and size. Dimensions 2015 Chevrolet Colorado model, approaching it to the class of full-size pick-up truck. Such a GM move , is a marketing attempt to unite the three classes in one vehicle. Therefore, the new Colorado attracts more customers.

The design of the front of the vehicle has undergone the most significant change. Compared to the previous generation, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado got a more rounded front end. Redesign of the vehicle include a new, larger, chrome grille, modeled on the 2015 Silverado model. The new Colorado is still on offer with a Regular Cab, Extended Cab and Crew Cab. This remarkable pick-up truck is available in WT, LT, and Z71 trim levels. Richest trim level is the Z71, which in comparison to the other two, has 17? alloy wheels and the “gunmetal” frame of front grille.

To start the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado model will be in charge of two petrol engines. The first is a 2.5 L 4-cylinder engine with 193 hp and 249 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to 6-speed transmission. More powerful 3.6 L V6 engine develops 302 hp and 366 Nm of torque. As with the 2.5 L engine, power transmission to the drive wheels are performed using 6-speed transmission. 2015 Chevrolet Colorado has the option of 2WD and 4WD.

There are indications that the engine range will expand with 2.8 L Duramax turbo-diesel engine. Will this engine be offered in 2015 Chevy Colorado model, or the model of occurring in any of MY, has not been announced  yet. On the U.S. market, 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, will begin to be sold in the fall of 2014, at a price that will stay in the price range of the current model.
